One of my favorite parts about this festive season (we’re in the midst of), is taking the time to enjoy all of the Christmas carols currently being played anywhere and everywhere you go. I certainly have a few favorites of my own, but on this twelfth day of December, I can’t help but think of one in particular: The Twelve Days of Christmas. Now, as a mom to two rambunctious boys (about to partake in their holiday hiatus from school), I just couldn’t help myself and decided to conjure up my own version of this Christmas classic.
From my experience, I know that this is what my days are about to look like — feel free to sing along if you’d like.
*On the FIRST day of Christmas, my sweet son gave to me:
A kiss by the Christmas tree. (Awe, so sweet!)
