Welcome to our video series, Meet The Team! Each day this month, we want to introduce you to one of our incredible writers from The MOB Society in the hopes that you’ll get to know them better, see the face and voice behind the words on the screen, and give them a chance to share their heart for equipping and encouraging BoyMoms just like you!
Today, we’d like to introduce you to Jessica Bowman — Jessica says that life with her three boys (ages 6, 8, and 10) is like living with the three stooges — someone is always getting bonked on the head or poked in the eye! The Bowmans have moved around a lot and as a result their children are “third-culture kids” — they deal with a lot of transition and goodbyes and are preparing for another round as they will be moving to South Asia in early 2015!
In her writing at The MOB Society, Jessica shares her heart of parenting boys from a gentle parenting perspective — not to be confused with permissive parenting, she’s felt very convicted to train and discipline her children as gently as she can and shares that journey with other BoyMoms!
