I’d love to learn tips on helping my preteen boy who’s shy learn how to make friends at a new school. We’re military and move a lot (we have recently moved every summer for the past 3 summer to a new state each time). He’s 12 and has lived in 8 different places since he was born – to include 7 different states. He struggles every time we move to make friends and I’m out of ideas to help him. My other 3 kids don’t have a problem making friends, he just doesn’t like initiating a friendship, he’d rather they come to him.
