Today, we’d like to introduce you to Monica Swanson — Aloha! Monica has served on the writing team for two years and hails from Hawaii! Her four boys range in age from 4-15 years old and she homeschools the oldest three! Her boys are surfers and for the past three years, she’s blogged over at thegrommom.com about their active beach life. Recently, she has recently transitioned to MonicaSwanson.com where her heart’s desire is to write and encourage families — in the hard, but worth-the-work areas of parenting and marriage. She advocates finding balance in life — finding ways to care for yourself while serving and loving others! Now that her two oldest are in their teen years, she’s starting to see the fruit of the prayers and time she poured into them as they make choices that honor God and become young men of integrity. She encourages all of us in the trenches to hang in there during the hard days, keep close to our boys, and live well in our current season of motherhood.
