So, today’s launch day.

We made it, and no children were hurt in the making of this book 😉 Actually, I have my children to thank for the existence of this book…without them I’m not sure I would be weary.

Turns out that’s a good thing.

I’m so grateful for the way God has brought, and continues to bring me to my knees through motherhood. I was way too prideful and sure of myself before I was a mom, and apparently, God wasn’t OK with that. I can’t count the number of times my boys have humbled me, and caused me to need God on a deep level. There have been plenty of times when I wished things were different…that they were easier to handle, or caused me fewer gray hairs…but overall, I wouldn’t change who they are, or who I’ve become because of who they are.

SO, without further ado…here are 5 reasons you need to buy the NEW Hope 40-Day Devotional.

1. It’s NOT the same book as the original Hope for the Weary Mom that released last year.

I know…I know…there’s some confusion over that. It looks the same, and has a very similar cover, but it’s actually not the same book. Hope for the Weary Mom was a more traditional book…this is an actual devotional, the purpose of which is to get moms engaged in God’s Word…without which we have no hope of overcoming weariness. That’s why I keep typing the word “NEW” in all caps…clever, no?

“‘You wrote this book for me, didn’t you?’ Brooke and Stacey get it, y’all. They get motherhood and blessings and brokeness.'” ~Mandy Rose, House of Rose

2. All the cool kids are doing it.

I don’t really love peer pressure, but there are about 700 other moms who have pledged to give God the next 40 days of their 2016. It’s pretty cool, and we’re using the NEW Devo as our guide. If you’d like to know more about it, go here. There’s no right or wrong time to start. Just start.

“If you’re looking for a new devotional this is the one. They’ll talk you down off the ledge.” ~Becky, Farm Girl Paints

3. There isn’t really anything I can think of that’s more important for a weary mom than being in the Word of God.

I may have mentioned that before, but things that are true are often worth repeating. Weariness is a part of motherhood. Show me a mom who isn’t, or hasn’t ever been weary, and I’ll question whether or not she’s telling the truth. The ONLY way to overcome weariness and live a hope-filled, victorious Christian life is to get in God’s Word and allow it to empower us on a daily basis. What better way to begin a new year?

“The devotions in the Hope Devo touched me so hard and so deep that they brought warm healing tears to my eyes. Thank you so much for your devotion to Hope, for acting upon the Holy Spirit’s work in your lives, and for loving Jesus. The “weary moms” that you touch are blessed forever by your willingness to share.” ~Brigette

4. Stacey and I have poured out our hearts in it.

We did that last time, too. Actually, come to think of it, I’ve done that in every book I’ve written over the years…and this one is no different. We like to call it the place where God’s truth intersects the daily reality of a weary mom’s life. Cause that’s what it is—40 truths to encourage the weary mom’s heart. And not only do these truths meet you right where you are, they move you deeper in your faith as you continue through the book. You’ll be a stronger mom when you finish than you were when you started.

“I can be overwhelmed by the truth of who Jesus is instead of being overwhelmed by life! OK, NOW, I am ready to face the day!” ~Njide

5. Other moms you know need to see that you have hope.

This one might be the most important. There are moms that God has specifically placed in your life…some saved, some unsaved…who need to know there’s hope. But how can you show them the way to hope if you don’t have it yourself? God wants to use your life to display his story to those around you…and this book can help you do it well.

“You can’t help but turn the page to find out what happens next in their life-in-the-trenches of motherhood adventures…Stacey and Brooke keep the truths strong and the stories short, but incredibly sweet. ~Elisa Pulliam, Life Coach and Author, Meet the New You.

Tonight, in celebration of our launch, you’re invited to join us for a progressive Facebook party beginning at 9PM EST.

We’ll start at the MOB Society Facebook page (from 9-9:15), then move to our friend Darlene’s page (you might’ve heard of Time-Warp Wife?) from 9:15-9:30. From there, we’ll head to the Mothers of Daughters page (9:30-9:45) and then wrap up at the Hope for the Weary Mom page, where we’ll be giving away our grand prize!

There will be prizes given away at every step of the journey, but the grand prize, an hour of mentoring prayer with me and Stacey, will be given away at the very end. We can’t wait!

Also, because we know some of you already have your books, or will be getting them soon (after you order yours today, right??) we want you to start posting pictures of yourself with the book (physical copy or ecopy…doesn’t matter) on Facebook and Instagram! From now through January 15th we’re going to give away 10 signed copies of the book to random people who post their pictures this way using the #HopeDEVO hashtag. When you win you’ll have an extra copy to give to a friend! Get snapping, friends!

And again, thanks for your continued support through the years. It means the world!
