All throughout the Bible, God takes ordinary people – sometimes even less-than-ordinary people – and uses them to do EXTRAORDINARY work for Him and His glory. So many redeemed situations that shine His love and mercy for the world to see.
He still uses ordinary people in extraordinary ways today and I find that right here each and every day.
The men and women who write in this space are such people. They are so much like you and I – sinners who have found their salvation in Him and are doing their best each and every day to follow hard after Jesus.
But then there are their words. Their transparency. Their honesty. Their knowledge that while life is not perfect, it is lovely by God’s design.
God is taking their life experiences – the good and the bad, the beautiful and the ugly – and redeeming them as they share on these pages.
We wouldn’t have this community without them. We wouldn’t be knit together so closely as boy raisers if they weren’t letting God use their life and words for redemption. I’ve seen it in my own life. I’ve been inspired, challenged, changed as a boy mom. Days that have seemed beyond hope have been turned around – redeemed - by an honest, encouraging word and GRACE from this team of writers.
When we asked you what you liked most about The MOB Society in a survey at the end of last year, one of the most used words was “real.” I couldn’t agree more. And in the “realness,” we have been united.
Today, Brooke and I write to say a humble thank you to our amazing team of writers. You bless us and you are loved and appreciated. This team has pulled together by God and each one of you are treasured.
