Last night in youth I gave my son a $20 bill for snacks. He was supposed to get change (a $10 bill and two $5 bills). When he was given the change back, an extra $10 was given. He noticed it and immediately let the youth sponsor know. She was very impressed at his honesty and gave him something free from the snack station. It made me so proud!

This is a funny (sorta). My 2 year old son AJ had been throwing his sippy cup around the house, with quite amazing force. So, I was saying “Whooaaa…look at that!” And he would laugh and laugh. It was all fun and games until from way across the room, he threw his sippy cup and it hit me right in the forehead. OUCH! So in case any of you mommas were wondering, it hurts really bad to get hit in the head with a sippy cup thrown by a 2 year old boy.

So proud of my middle son who has been struggling with his swim lessons. He was held back this year (his siblings progressed ahead) and I really thought it would further dampen his desire to succeed. Today, he worked in the deep end (still with a noodle, but it’s progress!) and got lots of compliments from his coach about his improving skills. I have to remind myself often that he always starts behind, but always catches up and my job isn’t to harangue him, but encourage him while he works out the details in his own time.

I am so proud of my 3 boys today! They welcomed their new baby brother into the world with open arms! Our newest little guy is in the NICU, so it can look a little scary. Each one of them touch him, talked to him and loved on him. I am so thankful for each one of my sweet boys!
How sweet Holly. I pray your little guy heals quickly and is able to come home in the right time. Blessings!

No linky here either..I posted about a little doodle I found on my car window yesterday morning that my oldest son had drawn. I’d gotten to work late (right on time..but I commute and missed breakfast), it wasn’t an easy morning. Seeing the little stick man through the sunshine was a nice surprise!! He has a ‘thing’ for drawing all over the car window so it just made me stop and think for a moment.

I recently posted about my son and I’s differing love languages. God truly has a sense of humor.
Also something very sweet that I am getting ready to blog about (when I have more time)- We have two boys- 1 month old and 2 1/2 years old. The baby started to cry in the car and I asked by oldest to talk to him to make him feel better. He reached for his hand and said “its ok, Jesus loves you. You are God’s creation.” Melted my heart AND the baby settled down for the rest of the car ride!
