I’m wondering if it’s okay to brag on my hubby! he has been amazing this week. first i want to say thank you JEsus for employment! my husband is self employed through a contract with US postal service. a contract that is to end June 30th. we have ben praying and waiting, praying and wait upon the Lord for the next step or directions He’s have for us. if my husband received the contract he would have income for the next 4 years. regardless of what the economy looks like. Knowing that the Lord takes care of those who follow hard after him, we knew it was all under control! a couple of days ago we got the phone call. The Lord has answered many prayer request buy opening the door for my husband to continue with his current income plus a raise. We press on in prayer for other answers..exciting things are going to happen!
other then awesome news, he has been hard at work in our yard, with out complaining….he is a hard worker, and i’m blessed to be called his wife.

I want to brag on my 13-year-old son who defended his 18-year-old brother from something unkind said about him. They don’t always get along so it really touched my heart when I saw him get defensive about what was said. My older son ended up hugging him and it was just so nice to see.

I’m going to brag on my boys for being so brave this weeks. I am currently 32 1/2 weeks pregnant with my 4th boy. My other boys are 9, 7, and 3. On Sunday I started having complications with my pregnancy and now I am having a lovely stay at a high risk hospital. I will be here for about 3 weeks. This has not been easy on any of us, but especially my children. They have really rallied together and been helpful and dare I say mature about the whole situation. It has proven to be quite difficulty on my oldest, but he is trying!! Please keep us all in your prayers!!
I’m proud of my middle child, Josh, who is doing his best at swim lessons this year. His triplet brother and sister got to move up to the next level and it was one of the first times when he was kept in a separate group, behind them. He’s not a fan of little kids, so I was worried how he’d take it when seeing that he was placed with younger ones. But he’s doing well, jumping into the deep end and – gasp – opening his eyes when his face is wet without having to wipe off with a towel first. (That kinda makes the swimming thing hard to do
So happy to see that he’s taking on the challenge in stride!

My almost six year old and I wrote a WORSHIP song this morning!

He is always writing out song lyrics and wanting us to sing them at church, so this morning we worked out some lyrics that would in praise song format, and made a simple worship song!
It was so cool.
