In a world where it’s way too easy to see all of the negative about our boys, we want to help you intentionally look for something to brag on…
- Maybe your boy made a good grade this week
- Maybe he served someone spontaneously
- Maybe he learned a significant life lesson
- Maybe he did something hilarious!
- Maybe he looked super cool in his costume/dress up clothes!
- Maybe you took a fabulous photo of him you just want to show off.
Tell us all about it on Thursdays in the MOB Society’s new link-up…
Let’s Hear it For the Boys!

There’s only two real rules for this link-up…
Brag on your boys! Tell the world how they make you proud! Take time each week to write down or take pictures of the good things they do and remind yourself of how God is working in their hearts.
And…leave a link back here to the MOB Society so other boy moms can brag on their boys!
We think it might change your whole perspective.
Link-up! (Or if you don’t blog, tell us about your amazing boy in the comments!)

I don’t blog…I’m lucky that I know how to check e-mail!
I just have to say that there are special, individual things I love about each of my boys. Levi (7) has such a helpful spirit and is a strong leader. Logan (6) is such a goofball and an actor! He’s always making us laugh. Landon (4) has THE…GREATEST…LAUGH…EVER!!! When he laughs, we all laugh! And baby Liam (not a baby since he just turned 2 last week) is just a sweetheart. He lives to have fun! I love them all!!!
My Emmett cleaned his room last night without being asked!
I do blog, but time is limited these days with my first child, my boy, being only two and a half weeks old. I decided I’d be better off just leaving a comment for today.
What can you brag about with a nearly three week old boy? A few things, albeit silly, I can think of…
1. He is (usually) an awesome eater and figured out how to latch well in about, oh, thirty seconds. He passed his birthweight before he was a week old! (the usually comes from recently – he gets distracted because he’s having so much gas/reflux that it takes him a while to latch.)
2. He is an awesome farter. He makes his dad proud, lol.
3. He is the best little snuggle buddy in the world, happiest when he’s snuggled right up against you.
4. He’s already aweome at outings. We’ve gone to my work for a visit (with high school students!), to Panera, out to pizza with the family, to several stores…. he’s a champ, and behaves really well (so far!)
I’m glad my MIL found this site for me – it’s fun to read about moms whose boys are a little older, and to perhaps glean some insight.
Beth´s last [type] ..A Good Friday
My oldest, Eli, got to bring home two library books. Up to this point in the K year, they have checked out one book from the media center. But because he has been so responsible about bring them back, he got to check out two. Then, last night he did an awesome job while we were doing a two-minute tidy to get the living room mostly clean before daddy got home. I was especially proud of him because he ignored the rather obvious fact that his next brother was not helping at all. He just went about his job.
My oldest Cade(3) ran up to open a door for a lady. He told me, “Boys open doors for girls.” So proud of him.
My 9 yr. old son Aiden (AKA Dash he can run super fast/braniac) played with a neighborhood friend yesterday. 2 yr. old Brooklyn, although afterwards he said “Mom, that was boring”. He was taken by the hand and lead around the neighborhood by Brooklyn and then played basketball together. He was a perfect little Gentlemen. Always bringing home A’s. Hugging me when I feel sad or upset, he is super!
Went to a breakfast this morning for my Oldest Son to receive a Principal’s award from his school. He makes me perpetually proud. That Middle Son and Youngest Son sat quietly and clapped and were well behaved through all the ceremony made me even prouder!
