I have been in a great place spiritually, but my physical body has been suffering because of unconfessed, or unrealized sin. My son has a good heart, but lately has fallen into lying and fighting with classmates (sometimes even physically) causing problems and pain for our family. He is only just 10. I pray that the Holy Spirit would come into his heart, give him self control and let him be a blessing to other people.
Holly I will be praying for your son. A thing that we have been telling our boys when they lie is that satan is the father of lies and we should want to please God and not satan.
I will be praying for you meredith, that the Lord will give you strength and wisdom with your health choices so that you can overcome them and focus on his will for your life.
I would appreciate it if you would pray for our family. We have 3 & 5 yr. old boys that I would like to homeschool, but my husband doesn’t want them to. Pray that we can come to a decision together, after lots of prayer.

I would love prayer for our youngest boy, 1 year old, who has been dealing with asthma-type issues, hospitalized twice in the past 3 weeks. Pray that he may grow strong and healthy, and may outgrow his issues.
Lately its all just been to much. My boys, our finances everything. I’m craving words of affirmation from my loved ones, but lack the courage to ask for them. I struggle so with guilt. There are so many on these pages who need so much and we are so blessed, and yet I find myself despairing. Work is a burden, our home is a burden. Please help me embrace my blessings.

I am asking you to pray for the salvation of my 14 year old adopted brother. At one time he said he prayed to receive Christ, but now is not sure in His salvation at all and his behavior reflects that. My Godly parents are raising him in a strong Christian home – and it’s the only home he’s ever known.
I’m asking God to soften “T”‘s heart, to help him be open to the message of Truth.
Please pray for God to strengthen and encourage my parents that they may continue strongly in raising their child.

Hi all. I feel quite heavy today. I struggle with management of basically everything! Organising of my days, organising my house, planning properly and such! I tent to be super enthusiastic about everything and halfway through I realise how absurdly unrealistic my expectations were and fall into despair. I love my boys but I have immense trouble training and disciplining my boys. It causes a huge amount of friction in myself, between myself and them, and my husband. I, too, struggle with staying focused (ADD?). I am a master list-maker, but will get half-way through a task and get distracted by something else that needs to be done! I have a hard time staying on-task. So, I can empathise with you, and am praying with you!

Please pray for my 11 year old son and his relationship with his step-father, my husband. Our blended family is so broken and I am just plain exhausted- so now I just want to give it up to the Lord to do with it what is His will because I can no longer carry this weight.

I need prayer for wisdom and peace…I have 6 boys, ages 9-21. My husband passed away a year and a half ago. There are so many struggles I am facing. The oldest is getting married, there are challenges with that….the others are still grieving, I am struggling with loneliness and second guessing myself….sometimes just want to quit life. Just having a bad day today.

I am praying that our Heavenly Father wraps His wonderful arms around you and gives you the peace, comfort, guidance, and love that you so desparately need right now. Father, please be with Jane tonight as she is having a very hard day. Lord I cannot imagine the struggles she is facing or how she finds the strength to keep moving forward throughout the last year and a half. Please wrap your arms around her tonight, breath the peace that passes understanding which your word talks about deep into the depths of her hurting heart. Be with her boys as they try to cope and move forward, prod men in their lives to step up and be the Christian role models all young men need in the absence of their earthly father. Please Lord, I pray your comfort, and that you will show Jane a small reminder of your faithfulness, the truth that you have not left her in this trial, but that you are carrying her through the storm.

My ds2 (9-1/2) needs prayer ~ he has issues with disobedience (especially with me) and self-control (which IS improving, thank the Lord!). He has a good heart and loves to help others, but I guess he looks at helping us, his family, as “work.” Pray for him to be diligent and not complain constantly.
My ds1 (almost 12) needs prayer for his physical well-being. He has been struggling with a cough (allergy related?) for over a week and he’s just worn down (limited deep sleep, etc.).
For myself, I have been dealing with illness and want to be well and happy. I have trouble sleeping at night due to heart palpitations that wake me up numerous times during the night. Had my heart checked & they just said it “must be something electrical.” Ran out of money and patience to take it any further. I just need THE HEALER to help me.
For my husband, I pray for contentment, guidance, and comfort. He recently lost his mother. We used to pastor, and desire to do so again. He is struggling with co-workers (differences in values, which affects his working environment). We can never “get ahead” financially, and we aren’t big spenders (I know the struggling economy is hitting everyone). We need to keep our eyes on our Creator, not on our own abilities.
Dear Father, I pray that you would work in Mendy’s son’s heart and life so that he would draw near you and learn to be more and more like You as he walks with You. Help him to be diligent and eager to help for your glory and to realize complaining displeases you as well as his parents. Thank you that his self-control has improved and please help it to improve more, and please help him learn to obey.
Please help her other son to get better and be able to reat and heal.
Please give Mendy and her husband wisdom and grace in dealing with their children. Please help Mendy to be able to get answers and help for her health issues or else please just heal her. Help her to be able to get the rest she needs.
Please comfort her husband and his family in the loss of his mother, help him to be content in every circumstance, as Paul said, and give him wisdom and guidance in the family’s financial needs. We pray for your provision. Help them all to keep their eyes on You.

One of my sons, while not in gross sin, is not where he needs to be spiritually. Please pray that he will sanctify the Lord in his heart, give Him preeminence, lovingly submit to Him, and not go any further in the wrong direction.
Another son just left for a combination mission and camp week. Please pray for safety for the group, godly attitudes, and receptive hearts to God’s working.

Please pray for our family. We have 3 children and my son is the middle child at 7 yrs. old. We love him very much but can’t seem to reach him. He makes bad choices and doesn’t care about consequences. It is very tiring as the whole family is affected by his bad attitudes or disobedience.
Heavenly Father I lift up Shelly’s boys to you right now God and I pray that You grab a hold of their hearts right now Lord. I pray God that even at this young age they would know and recognize their need for you, and they would depend on you Holy Spirit to live right each and every day. Lord, I lift up my sister Nicolette, her husband, and their son up to you this evening. Our first born is a classic strong willed child, with a never ending independent streak and a type A personality. He is such a good kid, I can already see the Lord working in and through him at 4 yrs old, but somewhere along the lines our desire to have my husband be the Christian and overall leader of our household has taught or ingrained a complete lack of respect for me. His disobedience, anger, and childlike cursing (I hate you! etc) have been weighing heavy on my heart and I feel like I’ve tried everything. Thank you. I’m praising the Lord I found this tonight, I needed some solace in knowing I’m not alone!!! I can’t wait to get to know everyone better.

You know the deep desire of Teresa Marie’s heart to have her husband be the spiritual leader of their home. I pray that you would do a good work in him so he can understand how to honor, respect, and cherish his wife. I also pray that he would understand what a strong influence he has on his son and that he would change his ways and be a good example for him. I pray that you would grant Teresa patience and grace. Surround her with encouragement and let her not grow weary as she continues to walk the path you set out for her. Help her continue to draw near to her husband and closer to you. Sidenote: Have you read “The Power of a Praying Wife” by Stormie Omaritan? I tend to read a prayer or two a night for my husband and have noticed God doing a good work in him and our relationship. We still have struggles, including some of the same that you’re dealing with, but I have a greater peace when I pray for my husband…even when I don’t feel like it. It helps me give up control of the situation..especially when I think I can change my husband. I know that’s impossible…but with GOD all things are possible!
Please pray that my husband and I can demonstrate what respect, patience, grace, and love look like toward each other so our 4 and 6 year old sons can show those same qualities to each other and to others.

I’m asking for prayer for my mother, who recently broke her hip. Please pray that she gains the Lords peace and courage. She is very fearful of doctors, and tends to ignore, or neglect her health issues because of that fear. I have a 10 month old son, who adores her as much as I do. Please pray for my Mom. She was diagnosed last week with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. She begins chemo treatments next week. She feels perfectly fine, they caught it in the very early stages, but I’m afraid the horrible side effects of chemo will hit her hard next week. I just pray that she will tolerate the chemo well and not get horribly sick, and that this cancer will leave her body after only a few treatments. Thank you for your prayers!
